Mrs. Nicolosi holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Music Education from Ohio University with further study
at UCLA and Washington University in St. Louis. Before accepting her current position as Music Director at Christ
Episcopal Church, she taught choral and general music in the Los Angeles and St. Louis city schools, as well as
Music Education courses at The University of Alabama and Shelton State Community College.
Mr. Procter holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Alabama, a Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and an Artist Diploma from the Conservatory of Music in Geneva, Switzerland. For 20 years he sang leading lyric baritone and tenor roles across the United States and in Europe. He is also adjunct Professor of Voice at the University of Alabama.
A graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Music, Mrs. Jacobs worked for many years in church music and as owner and director of a child care center. She has been a member of the Choir School staff since its founding in 1985.
Originally from Ohio, Mrs. Procter graduated from the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music, with a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance. Laurel and her husband, Doff, both sang professionally as leading singers in German and Austrian opera houses.
Jason Beasley received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Huntingdon College in Montgomery and his Master of Sacred Music, Organ Performance from Emory University in Atlanta. Jason has accompanied various choirs on tour in England, Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic as well as the United States. He currently serves as Organist/Assistant Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church in Tuscaloosa.
